I wrote this for someone who is very special to me. I try not to be terribly corny. It's a very short poem, not intended to capture any previous memories. Just to express my feelings as of now.

Taste of Love

I kissed your fingertips
and ended up tasting a dish of your heart--
there was a deep fruity, tropical flavor,
an enigmatic spice,
a slice of key lime pie.
It was a taste, oh such a taste,
that my lips could barely keep away!

School Room

I try to make a didactic heart
that knows duty before pleasure,
but it is fickle as a school boy
held captive in a school room in the summer.
