Recipes Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts
Help me with this slow cooker recipe?
I saw a recipe online some time ago for a slow cooker recipe that involved
* Chicken Breasts
* Packet of Italian Seasonng Mix
* Cream of Chicken Soup
* Block of Cream Cheese
Do I just add it all at once to the crock pot or do I add the cream cheese at the end. I am reading different versions and I want it to taste great.
Here are the ingredients:
--1 can cream-of-something soup
--1/2 cup chicken broth
--frozen chicken pieces
--packet of Italian salad dressing mix
--2 cloves minced garlic
--block of cream cheese (to add later)
Here are the the Directions.
Put everything except for the cream cheese into the crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and begins to shred. Shred the chicken with two large forks, and mix in the block of cream cheese. Switch the crock to high and cook for another 30 minutes, or until the cream cheese is fully melted.
Serve over pasta. We used Trader Joe's brown rice

Cream Cheese Chicken
ONE FAMILY
4 chicken breasts
1 packet of dry zesty Italian seasoning
1 can of cream of chicken soup
8 oz of cream cheese
¼ cup of butter
½ cup of water
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
TO PREPARE AFTER FREEZING: Place frozen chicken in a crock pot. Melt butter and combine with seasoning and water. Pour over the chicken and cook on low for 5-6 hours. About 45 minutes before chicken is done combine soup and cream cheese heat on the stove and pour over chicken to heat for remaining 45 minutes. Serve over rice, noodles or potatoes. Note you can add broccoli or a mixed frozen veggie with the chicken.
