Where can I find my mother in laws secret no bake cheesecake recipe?
She got the recipe from a little coffee shop in Northern Ireland and took it home to Canada. I have to make a dessert for Easter Supper tommorow..but she is in Ireland as we speak, so I am out of luck. I know it has jello, cool whipped topping, fruit (like oranges or strawberries), cream cheese, and I think I am missing another ingredient. Help!
either use Philadelphia cheese or kiri cheese (mash it with a fork then add 1 jello packet (dissolved in half the water mentioned on the packet)
add whipping cream around 250 gm
add one nestle cream tin
break 2 digestive biscuit packs using yr food processor add 2 table spoon butter to help it attach
pre heat yr oven then turn it off, put the biscuit in a pan then in the oven for 10 min
leave the biscuit to cool then add the above mixture & put in the freezer for at least 3 hrs (better to prepare the cheese cake a day a head before u eat it)
Use strawberry juice or jam or whatever u like on the top just before u present it

Appetizer:
Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 stick butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Add to Recipe Box
DIRECTIONS
Mix together the butter, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, oregano, parsley, thyme, dill, basil, and pepper in a bowl until evenly combined. Chill in refrigerator overnight or 8 hours. This can be frozen for long-term storage.
Serve on crackers.
Dessert:
Basic Crepe Recipe:
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: about 30 minutes

1. Sift flour and mix with salt in a bowl.
2. Make a well and pour in eggs. Stir well.
3. Slowly pour in milk while stirring. Keep stirring batter until small bubbles form on the surface.
4. Stir in Butter.
Voilà!
NB The batter does not need to stand before using it. However, if you do let it stand, you will most likely want to add 1 tbsp. of water before cooking with it. General rule of thumb: if it seems thicker than cream, add a little more water, and/or a little more milk.
How to Prepare Crepes:
1. Pour a little vegetable oil on a folded paper towel, and wipe the pan evenly. Keep paper towel at hand while preparing crepes, in case you want to give it another wipe.
2. Pour in 2 - 3 tbsp. of batter and quickly move pan around, so that batter spreads evenly, covering the whole surface with a thin layer.
3. Let cook for about 1 minute. Then, flip with a metal spatula, and cook other side for about 30 seconds.
Repeat these steps until you are out of batter, stacking cooked crepes on a plate. Yum!
Variations:
Prefer whole wheat flour? No problem. You can substitute the white flour with your own favorite!
Serving Ideas:
Traditionally, a crepe is lightly topped, and then folded into quarters. Meaning, fold in half, and then fold in half again.
If you prefer, you can also top your crepe and then roll it up like a tortilla.
Of course, when you are using thicker fillings, you will probably just want to fold the crepe in half once.

Marconi Grill Penne Rustica
Gratinata Sauce:
2 Teaspoon Butter
2 Teaspoon chopped garlic
1 Teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon chopped rosemary
1 cup marsala wine
1/4 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
8 cups heavy cream
Sauté butter, garlic , and rosemary until garlic begins to brown.
Add Marsala wine and reduce by one third. Add remaining ingredients
and reduce by half of original volume. Set aside: Penne Rustica:
1 Ounce pancetta or bacon
18 each shrimp peeled and deveined
12 Ounce grilled chicken breast, sliced
4.5 cups of granita sauce
48 Ounce Penne Pasta, precooked
3 Teaspoon pimentos
6 Ounce butter
1 Teaspoon chopped shallots
1 pinch of salt and pepper
1 cups parmesan cheese
1/2 Teaspoon paprika
6 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Sauté pancetta until begins to brown. Add butter, shallots, and shrimp. Cook
until shrimp are evenly pick but still translucent. Add chicken, salt,
pepper, and mix thoroughly. Add granita sauce and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
and simmer until sauce thickens. In a large bowl, combine shrimp and chicken
mixture with precooked pasta. Place this mixture into single serving dishes
or one large casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and pimentos and
sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 475 for 10−15 minutes. Remove and garnish
with fresh rosemary sprig. Serves six.

A good substitute for Velveeta cheese?
I want to make a recipe for macaroni and cheese but the recipe calls for processed cheese food or Velveeta (see ingredient below) and I am really against using it. First of all I think it tastes awful and it just doesn’t seem natural. Do you think I can just add 8 more oz. of cheddar a total of 8oz. more of the other cheese? Or should I do something else? Any suggestions would be great!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1; (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni; 9 tablespoons butter; 1/2 cup shredded Muenster cheese; 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese; 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese; 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese; 1 1/2 cups half-and-half ;8 ounces cubed processed cheese food; 2 eggs; beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Just leave it out of the recipe altogether. It's purpose is to create a creamy consistency. You could substitute cream cheese if you really want to.

Chicken Thigh with Pasta recipe needed!!!!?
Okay so my friend's uncle made this kick a** chicken/pasta dish about a month ago and I have about seven people coming over tonight and I want to make at least something similar to it...
The dish was chicken thighs with pasta, baked, covered, very flavorful with garlic, chopped onions....etc.
Here is what I need help with:
I have never cooked/baked chicken THIGHS (with bone). So, can anyone tell me a good way to bake the thighs with the pasta so that the pasta doesn't get too soft and the thighs are still fully cooked? I don't want it to be very "thick" like a straight casserole - the original dish was baked with broth and still had somewhat of a sauce in it.
I'd really appreciate any ideas & let ya know how it turns out!

This is a dish that does not have the pasta baked with the chicken --
1 package chicken thighs (8-12 thighs, depending on size)
1 very large red onion or 2 medium red onions, sliced
1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes, with juices
4 cloves garlic, sliced in roughly 1/16″ bits
¼ cup port wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Your pasta of choice, in an amount suitable for the number of people you’re serving.
Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F
Wash chicken and pat dry. Season liberally with salt and pepper. Brown chicken on all sides in large sauté pan, set aside.
Layer onions and garlic in bottom of a large, covered baking dish (or one large enough to cover with foil), season well with salt and pepper, layer chicken thighs over the top. Add wine, pour tomatoes over chicken in a single strip down the center of the dish. (Just because it’s pretty.)
Bake covered on center rack of oven until onions have broken down nearly completely and chicken is cooked through. (about one hour in my oven and with a ceramic dish. It will take longer in a steel dish.)
Allow to rest, covered, for 10 minutes.
Season to taste and serve over pasta.

Unhealthy vegetarian diet? DIET ADVICE NEEDED!?
Im 14, fussy, skinny and vegetarian
This is my week's food/drink intake: (I kept a food diary)
Monday: Cup of tea with 8 custard creams, Blackcurrant drink and half a apple
Tuesday: Small shortbread cake, bottle of water (spread out over the day), quorn chicken dippers with potato waffles and pea's
Wednesday: Shreddies and milk, cola, tinned lentil soup
Thursday: Cup of tea, 14 bourbon biscuits, 6 Slices of Toast with alot of butter, 3 glasses of orange diluted cordial, macaroni cheese and jacket potato
Friday: Curry Pot noodle, Super noodles, Blackcurrant, milk, horlicks, meat free soya/wheat protein hot dog on its own, Chip shop chips with brown sauce, mushy pea's.
My diet isn't healthy?
How can I make it of nutritional value, things like meal plans and recipe ideas.
I'm a good cook and make all my own meals. But I'm always tired so don't put the effort in.

Cream Cheese Cookbook
A cookbook was done by Architects years ago w/ a cheesecake recipe to die for!?
To perfect their writing skills, architect students printed out recipes in their best blueprint writing. A book was made and I had an awesome cheesecake recipe from it, but lost it! Anyone know of this book and what it was called? The recipe was the most simple way to make a cheesecake and the BEST I have ever tasted!! It called for cream cheese, egg, sugar, vanilla; all poured into a ready made crumb crust. What was this recipe book called? Who put it out!?
Really? Do a SEARCH for it? Why you should be the President of Smartville! Honestly, folks...get a clue. Do a search for it. Why bother answering? Unless you're trying to amass points, dingus.
I have seen this cook book- it was out of a school somewhere near Sacramento. That's about all I can remember, sorry!

substituting regular cheese in Italian dishes...?
my son is allergic to all dairy products and one of my all-time favourite recipes is for a lasagne which contains cheese, cream etc.
would anything dreadful happen if I substituted soy cheese?
I've never tried it before...does it melt like dairy cheese? what about taste?

You can also try goat cheese. My friends mother is lactose intolerant and that's the only cheese she can have. You can also use silken tofu to replace the ricotta in the recipe, add some of the soy cheese to that, garlic, salt and pepper and parsley.
