Chicken legs,brown rice, and broccoli. ASAP please!
I can't remember where I got this recipe, but I make it for our family reunion dinners and there is never any left. Make sure you watch not to let it cook dry, it depends on the type of brown rice you use. Some brown rice absorbs more than others. Happy Eating.
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of broccoli soup
1 8oz bag broccoli
10 3/4 fluid ounces milk
1 1/2 cups water
1 pound chicken legs (browned in oil)
1 cup uncooked brown rice
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a medium casserole dish.
In a large bowl, mix the soup, milk, water, browned chicken legs, rice, broccoli, Cheddar cheese, onion, and garlic. Season with parsley, basil, dill, salt, and pepper. Transfer to the prepared casserole dish.
Bake 1 1/2 hours in the preheated oven, until rice is tender. If water is absorbed too quickly, add more as needed.

Easy Valentine's Day Recipes Dinner
Cheap and Easy Valentine's Dinner Recipe?
Im a college student looking to make a nice dinner for my boyfriend on valentine's day. I just don't have a lot of money so i need something easy and not too difficult to make. He's not a big fan of pasta so spaghetti is kind of out of the question... unfortunately.

Paprika Chicken and Potatoes
2 large russet potatoes
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
3 tablespoons half-and-half cream
1/3 cup white wine
Place the potatoes in a saucepan, and add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook for about 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender. Drain, and cut the potatoes into chunks.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Rub chicken with 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, salt, and pepper. Fry in butter, turning as needed, until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan, and cut into bite size pieces. Set aside.
Pour the olive oil into the skillet, and add the onion. Cook and stir until onion is translucent. Stir in the half-and-half, white wine, and potatoes. Simmer for about 10 minutes to blend the flavors. Return the chicken to skillet, and cook until heated through. Season with remaining paprika, and serve with a steamed green veggie and bread & butter.

Easy Recipes For Chicken Salad
Easy recipe for red bean, rice and sausage soup?
When me and my dad go to Souper Salad we get this really good red bean rice and sausage soup and i wanted to make something similar for my dads birthday. But i dont have alot of ingredients to work with. I have the rice, sausage, beans, tomato sauce, chicken stock, and spices. I just need to know how to put them together and whatnot.
RED BEAN, RICE AND SAUSAGE SOUP
1 lg Onion -- chopped
1 lg Garlic clove -- minced
1 t Olive oil
3 1/2 c Chicken stock -- defatted
1 lg Carrot -- diced
1 lg Celery stalk -- diced
1/2 Sweet red peppers -- diced
1 1/2 c Water
1 cn Tomato sauce -- (15 ounces)
2 cn Red kidney beans, canned --
(16 ounces)
1/4 ts Dried thyme
1 Bay leaf
1/4 ts Black pepper
1/3 c Long-grain rice
6 oz Sausage -- sliced 1/4″
Thick
In a Dutch oven or small soup pot, combine onion,
garlic, olive oil, and 3 tablespoons of chicken broth.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until
onions begin to brown, about 5-6 minutes. Add all
remaining ingredients except sausage. Bring sou p to
a boil over high heat. Lower heat and cover. Simmer,
stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes. Add sausage
and cook an additional 10 minutes or until flavors are
well blended and soup
has thickened slightly. Keeps in refrigerator for 3-4
days.

Does anyone have any recipes for someone who just got braces?
My fiancé just got braces and he hasn’t been able to eat my cooking because his teeth are very sensitive. We usually eat a lot of salad and chicken. I don’t eat beef, pork or really anything with 4 legs and he doesn’t eat seafood. We do try to eat a pretty healthy balanced diet, which isn’t going well with him right now. I have some ideas about what to cook, but I wanted to see if anyone has ideas for some easy recipes for soft good food I can make for him and I can enjoy as well. Or even recipes with meat he would like.

Fish once a week at our house, tried a lot of recipes and the winner was (with my husband and 11 year old son) a very plain one:
Tilapia is a white fish and cooks fast, overcooked is dry. All I did is drenched it it seasoned flour (salt, pepper) and pan fried it in cooking oil, medium heat about 3 minutes each side. Always serve with lemon wedges. Simple but you do get the wonder full fish flavor and then you can get creative with the sides to your liking.
We like a cold kraut salad with fish:
Wine kraut ( drain juice)
small red onion diced
2 small carrots grated
1 granny smith apple diced
olive oil, salt, pepper to taste
chopped parsley; optional
Mix all ingredients and refrigerate, makes a real yummy salad to go with fish.

Heres a list of reviews from amazon.com on Gordon Rsamsay's 2008 Healthy Appetite Book.
This was my first celebrity Cookbook, so I was skeptical. Contrary to my fears of finding expensive ingredients that can't be found, Ramsay's recipes struck me as simple... not only in prep time, but also in the number of steps. As a nod to busy moms, the dishes have been timed to come together with minor forethought.
Eye-pleasing colors and an easy-to-ready design enhance the book further; the pages are nearly the thickness of card-stock, resistant to tearing, folding or wrinkling - a handy thing when squinting at a page over a hot stove of bubbling pots. The efficiency theme continues with recipes arranged in meal sections, rather than grouped by ingredient.
The book claims healthy, flavorful recipes... and it delivers just that. We chose three dinner items and a dessert to attempt for our family of six: braised lambs steaks, a side of lentils with green beans, spinach goat cheese soufflé and vanilla pannacota with blueberry sauce. Having never cooked soufflé I was floored when the concoction actually came out golden and delicious; a bakery loaf of French bread rounded out the meal.
My husband enjoyed all the dishes; there was nary a tidbit left on the children's plates. One would hardly have guessed the food we'd consumed was healthy. The verdict: a filling, celebrity meal for six - made at home, with dessert, for under $40 in ingredients.

One of his famous sayings... "what we are cooking the in the F Word kitchen you can make at home". Is absolutely the truth! "Fresh food simply prepared" is another of his mantras is also true with this book. I have never cooked to any level of this caliber ever! I am so stroked over this book I have purchased his other book "Fast Food".
This is an unbelievable change for me, from cooking the dish to plating it beautifully. My wife is nothing short of AMAZED!
One person who purchased the book as a gift reported the following - I purchased this book for my sister in law who absolutely LOVES Gordon Ramsay. After she looked through it a good hour, she told me it was wonderful, and had some fantastic recipes. So I can't say personally, but as a chef herself, my sis in law knows her food!
An obvious Ramsey fan said of this recipe book - Love Gordon Ramsay - Love his recipes. Easy to follow and delicious. They make me feel like I am a gourmet chef who cares about the quality of my food. I recommend this book to any level of cook/chef. Ramsay's simpleness is refreshing. A++.

For Someone that is trying to have a healthier lifestyle, may not have a lot of personal culinary experience, or as a first cookbook, this one is ideal. Chef Ramsay puts simple preparation of quality ingredients and flavors that meld well together at the heart of the culinary experience.
None of the recipes contain ingredients that are so exotic your local market should be without them, or at least a suitable substitute. Also, the ingredients are as such that no one should be afraid to try them. The book is quite stunning. Adorned with beautiful photography that may inspire the recipient to add that extra aesthetic touch!
One easy way to sum up most people's thoughts on the book is with one, final and simple review; I am so happy with this cookbook, it has many delightful, and easy recipies that will make your dinner guest think you hired a chef.

Food is the main source of energy to our body... And healthy eating is particular important to us, it not only provide us the energy we need it also keep us healthy and stay in good shape. And healthy eating does not have to be tasteless and boring, and if you know a few recipes, healthy food can actually be interesting and delicious.
Many people misunderstand that in order to gain massive muscle they have to consume a lot of protein, such as -- dry plain chicken, ostrich and turkey breasts, skim milk, egg whites, plain broccoli, tuna fish, oatmeal, etc.
I'm against this type of tasteless and boring meals, and like to give healthy food ideas that have a little more appeal.
If you want to be healthy and in good shape for the rest of your life, start today by eating healthy food and workout at least three times a week to make your life a lot easier. There isn't any other way, believe me.
You don't have to stop everything all together at one time. Make some adjustment, instead of having your favourite deep fried food everyday. Cut down to once a week then once every two week.
After sometime, you'll find that you can live without it.
Cut down on processed food today and train your taste buds to enjoy and appreciate the unadulterated taste of natural food that the earth produces for us.
We have grown up with processed foods, added with excessive of sugar, corn syrups, artificial sweeteners, flavour enhancers such as MSG and processed commercial salt, Tran's fats, refined vegetable oils and etc. All of these massive onslaughts of overly enhance tastes have rendered most people's taste buds senseless when it comes to the natural taste of real unprocessed foods.
I noticed that many people dumped this huge heaping spoonful of sugar into their coffee or tea. I can't even imagine myself being able to gag down tea that was so heavily loaded with sugar.
Even diet soda drinks are so excessively sweet these days, they're not refreshing at all. I can not understand how people can drink something that tastes like pure syrup.
If you can't stay away from a soda drink with every meal you take, it's time now for you to stop consuming soda drinks and start drinking water or unsweetened drinks... I do understand that it very difficult to change the drinking habits overnight, you can start with less sweetened drinks such as, making your own ice tea which you can control the amount
of sugar in your drink and add a slice of lemon to enhance the taste.

This is a very easy recipe!
Ingredients -
* 4 tablespoons butter
* 675g (1 1/2 lb) sirloin steak, cut into thin slices
* 1 onion, chopped
* 2 (200ml) cartons soured cream
1. Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add beef and onion; cook until the meat is browned and the onion tender.
2. Stir in soured cream, and heat through. Do not boil.

i am 16 years old and I've never cooked steak before and I LOVE to cook. I don't know what to do.
I need something simple and easy. and we only have so much stuff in the hous so any common things to use would be great. :]]
Heat a skillet or frying pan on med high heat. Add two tablespoons of olive oil. While that's heating, season the steak with any dry herbs you have, like garlic powder, salt, pepper, herb medly etc. Put the steak in the pan, and don't move it around. Check it after five minutes. If it has developed a nice brown crust, flip it and do the same to the other side. Now pre heat your oven to 325. When the other side is seared, pop it in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes depending on how rare you like it. Take it out of the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes. Cut in and enjoy. Make a baked potato and some veggies on the side.
