Chicken Recipes Alfredo Sauce
I need recipes using alfredo sauce, like the ones that Ragu makes. please no chicken but other meat is welcome
I like to boil elbow macaroni, and stir the noodles, a package of spinach, a little bit of ham if you like, and some shredded mozzarella. Place it in a casserole dish, sprinkle a little more mozzarella and some Parmesan, and bake. It's delicious!

Chicken Pasta Recipes Easy
Need an easy chicken recipe for someone who isn't familiar with cooking chicken & w little food in the house.?
I have four chicken breasts thawed and was hoping someone could give me an easy recipe for dinner tonight. I have the basics like some salsa, or cream of mushroom. I have some rice. I have some pasta. Some peas and corn. Maybe a casserole or something? I have some shredded cheese. Any ideas?
I also have some scalloped potatoes. Biscuits. Or Stove Top Stuffing. Any ideas for a casserole?
Here ya go ...It doesent have to be cambells soup though

Quick Easy Dinners Recipes
What's your favorite quick, easy dinner recipe?
Either something you make quickly or make ahead that reheats quickly and well? With summer coming, we have a very full schedule with sports. What do you make in just a few minutes when your day is packed?
Fettuccine Alfredo.
In a pan saute 2 TB. of finely chopped onions in 1 tsp. butter for 5 min. Then add cream and bring to a boil and boil for 5 min. Then turn down heat to low and all 1 cup Parmesan cheese (best if fresh). Take off heat and pour over prepared noodles. (noodles can be made ahead of time or at the same time)
Also, It is better than store bought sauce!!!

What are some good casseroles or slow cooker recipes?
It's getting cold up in NY! I need some good dishes for the hubby and I! We make pulled pork and chili, but I'm looking for some fresh ideas! Thanks!
Here are some of my favorites:
1. Pork Roast with apple saurkraut: 1 Pork Roast, 1 jar saurkraut, 1 granny smith apple, 3 T brown sugar, salt, pepper, onion. Season roast with salt and pepper and sear on all sides (opt.). Mix drained saurkraut with diced apple and brown sugar. Cut onion into quarters and place on bottom of crock pot. Top with roast and pour saurkraut over it. Cover and cook for 6 -8 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes and roasted veges.
2. Lasagne: 2 lbs turkey Italian sausage, 1/2 yellow onion, diced, 1 28 oz can tomato sauce, 1 15 oz can diced tomatos, 1 tsp fresh ground pepper, 3 T dried Italian herbs, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1 16 oz box Velveeta cheese, 1 6 oz bag shredded Italian cheese, 12 sheets lasagne noodles. Remove sausage from casings and saute with onion. Drain if necessary and add tomato sauce, diced tomatos, pepper, herbs and olive oil. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes. Cut Velveeta into 1/2 inch slices. Boil pasta according to package directions. Layer sauce, pasta, sauce, cheeses, and repeat ending with sauce. Top with remaining cheeses and sprinkle generously with parmesan. Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbling and cheeses have melted. Serve with green salad and french bread.
3. Pork chops and Mac and Cheese: 4 -6 bone in 1/2 inch chops, 1 -2 packages Kraft Mac and Cheese, 1 3 oz package cream cheese, 2 T blue cheese crumbles, 2 oz fontina cheese, 1/2 yellow onion sliced into rings, 1/2 cup milk. Season pork chops generously with Seasoned Salt and pepper. Saute in olive oil until browned. Remove and drain excess oil. Add onions to oil and saute until translucent. Remove from oil and drain. Make mac and cheese according to package directions, adding additional cheeses and milk. Place in greased baking dish. Place chops on top of mac and cheese and top with grilled onions. Cover and bake for 30 - 40 minutes, or until chops are cooked thru. Serve with fresh green beans.

Help me with my marinade recipe?
I would like some opinions on an idea i had for a marinade. how does this sound?
salt
lime juice
lime zest
pomegranate powder
mango powder
hibiscus powder
ground coriander seed
olive oil
white wine
jaggery (brown sugar)
these are some ingredients that I thought would make a good marinade for grilling either chicken or lamb. what do you think? can you give me some suggestions on how I should prepare this? or what other things would you add?
It sounds really good. As for chicken: I'd add some ground garlic, though. Just a personal choice. I noticed that you will be using ground coriander. May I also suggest a pinch of ground white pepper and a some FRESHLY ground black pepper? I'd add a 1/4 C of white wine to the marinade, too. Lamb doesn't agree with me...I'll let that to someone else. Bonn Appetit!!!!!!

Okay yet another recipe question. Vegetarian lasagna?
Okay I know these details are kinda vague, but I figured it was worth a shot. It seems like a remember my Mom making me vegetarian lasagna with ricotta cheese and also cottage cheese...? I don't like meat in my lasagna for some reason it tastes funky to me. Anyways, also what kind of sauce are you supposed to use? Just regular spaghetti sauce? And how can I liven up the taste of the ricotta a bit? I love ricotta but it almost tastes a little....blahhh sometimes. Any suggestions? Thank you and God bless!
I am not a vegetarian so I fill my lasagna with lots of meatballs and sausages but I also do a veg-friendly version for my friends using stewed peppers and/or aubergines.
Fry a couple of chopped garlic cloves in some olive oil and when they turn golden remove them and add the diced vegetables and any herbs or spices you like (I would go for lots of basil and a little oregano). Cook on a moderate fire until the vegs are tender.
Please don't use a ready made sauce, just buy some sieved tomatoes.
You should put a garlic clove cut in half and a little extravirgin olive oil in a pan and cook at moderate temperature until the garlic turns golden, then remove the garlic, pour in the tomatoes and cook for about half an hour. Use the sauce as it is for the top and bottom layer of the lasagna and mix it with the ricotta for the middle layers.
Cover the bottom of the baking pan with sauce and put a layer of pasta on it.
Make as many layers as you wish with the vegs topped with the sauce and ricotta mix, topped by cheese slices (or grated cheese), topped by another pasta layer.
On top of the last pasta layer put some sauce and a cheese layer
Bake until is crispy on top.

Christmas Recipes! i know what type i want to have though, HELP PLEASE! I will choose a best answer...?
ok so im looking for a sort of vegetarian side dish/finger food. To go with the normal christmas dinner, no sites have what i want! Maaybe somewhere along the lines of vegetarian spring rolls, but they're to hard to make. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE??
Some things i like are recipes with ricotta cheese/cheese vegetables like- tomato, onion, potato, spinach. But it definately doesnt have to include those! i REALLY appreciate it. :):)
Here are a few ideas....have fun
VEGETARIAN CHIMI CHANGAS
2 cloves garlic, chopped
10 medium mushrooms, sliced
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 medium-large onion, sliced
1 15 oz can black beans
1/2 cooked white or brown rice
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
10" tortillas
cooking oil
garlic powder
black pepper
crushed red pepper
onion salt
In a frying pan saute garlic cloves, mushrooms, green peppers, onions until soft but still slightly crisp. In a bowl mix cooked rice, black beans together. In another pan heat about 1/2" inch of cooking oil. Warm the 10" tortillas in the microwave until soft. Place a 1-2 large spoonfuls of rice and beans, top with a large spoon of vegetables, and sprinkle with mozarella cheese. Season to taste with garlic powder, onion salt, crushed red pepper, and black pepper. Fold in the edges tightly, and place folded edges down in hot oil. Brown each side until golden brown. serve on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes topped with guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Very tasty!!
VEGETARIAN SPRING ROLLS
20 sheets spring roll wrappers
2 carrots
1 white cabbage
1 cup dry flavoured soy mince
300 g beansprouts
salt pepper
oil for frying
for dip:
soy sauce
white vinegar
Shred carrots and cabbage. Add beansprouts. Soak soy in a little bit of water untill damp. Add soy to mixture; salt and pepper to taste.
Wrap into spring roll sheets and then fry in oil.
Delicious with a soy sauce and white vinegar dip.
VEGETARIAN NACHOS
1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritos
1 cup shredded Colby cheese
1 jar Pace Picante Sauce (chunky)
1 jar jalepenos
2 tbs. sour cream
1 small can black olives
Take about 20-25 chips and place onto a microwavable safe plate.
Spread 1 cup Colby cheese onto the Doritos. Do not add sour cream until after heated. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute (depending on microwave).
Spread Pace Picante sauce on top of the melted cheese and Doritos. Garnish with 2 heaping tablespoons of sour cream, black olives, and jalepenos.
Serve. Enjoy this fast and easy dish. It's a great meal at a cheap price for larger families. The kids will love it. Add lettuce or any other variety of ingredients to your liking.

Baked Ziti - can I use spahgetti sauce instead?
i'm trying to make baked ziti. I couldn't find "tomato sauce with mushrooms" I found spahgetti sauce (francesca) with mushrooms, can I use that? Can someone read these ingredients I bought and tell me if they are nesscary? Thanks....PS - if anyone has a link to a baked ziti recipe that would be great! Best answer points to the one who gives proper response!
ingredients I have: italian sausage, ziti noodles, onion, green pepper, 2 cans diced tomatoes, 2 bags grated parmesean and mozzarella, olive oil, pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, adobo seasoning, salt, thyme, 1 large jar of spahgetti sauce with musrooms, small container of ricotta cheese.
I use spaghetti sauce for my baked ziti.
It is homemade stuff but the other will work too!

i grew up with this recipe and it is sooo easy.
i bag egg noodles
1lb sausage
1 small can mushrooms (opt)
1 can corn
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
cook noodles as directed
cook sausage in skillet;drain
add mushroom soup, sausage,
mushrooms and corn to noodles
cook on stovetop for 5-10 min on med. heat just to warm up soup and ENJOY!!
